Price change: 0.99 to 29.99 - What the hell?!?

I was checking some threads here and noticed some people mentioning the game was $0.99. So I went to check the price, and it's now $29.99. Then I checked Steam Prices and saw that on February 18th 2016 the game's price went from $0.99 to $29.99 ! That's around 3,000% or 30 times the original price! What the hell was the reason for that price change? Specially since - no offence to the dev - I don't think this game is worth 30 bucks......

I just want to say that it's incredible to see a single person making a game and you've really inspired me. Obviously, at its current state, it has issues (or it wouldn't be in Early Access), but it works with some impressive things such as physics, real-time shadows, and on. So I wanted to ask what first inspired Dark Forester. P.S. If you have any issues with the English translation, I may be able to help. The last time I was in Dark Forester it had some quirks in English but that was some time ago and ...
